Pressure spikes with RE 17?

Anyone experienced pressure spikes and erratic groups using RE 17 powder?

It is very consistent and predictable in my 6.5cm. My experience has been when pressure signs suddenly appear, you are way above acceptable pressures, but just haven't noticed it until you reached that level.

I’ve shot a few pounds of it and think it’s a fine powder.

I concur with elkhunter11, if you’re seeing erratic swings and visible pressure signs, you’re already over the line.

It would be nice if the OP shared some more information, like which cartridge bullet, and load specifics.

I've been experiencing some inconsistencies at higher pressures as well with Reloader 22, I believe it has to with the hot weather lately that we have been shooting in. Doing some research on the internet it seems that the Reloader line of powder is more temperature sensitive than some of the other lines of powders.

Some Reloder powders are quite temperature stable, some are not, it depends on the specific powder.
