A lot of people have switched, after trying Athens out ....

schian 06-07-2013 03:56 PM

there should at least be an "other" option if your not even going to include PSE.
Not that I'm a PSE fan, lol

How's the chill shoot? Where'd you buy it? How much?

Zuludog 06-07-2013 06:23 PM

I really like my Strothers but my best friend just bought a Prime Impact and WOW!! what an incredible bow.

brendan's dad 06-07-2013 07:39 PM

Yeah I was shooting Mathews but got myself a prime shift and I probably won't be changing anytime soon.

Antelopeous 06-07-2013 08:15 PM

Prime

G5 prime!!!! Shot the Defy last tuesday and pretty much instantly traded in my Mathews z7. Best feeling bow ive ever shot. The back wall is like a concrete fortress. Try one, you will NOT be dissapointed.

loud? Not at all. It's exceptionally quiet, straight from PSE.

north american hunter 06-08-2013 09:08 AM

lol...not trying to get into a p!ssing contest. I have a 2012 Dream Season, and it's very quiet. I have shot the 2013 DNA, and stood beside peeps at the archery club shooting the DNA. Very quiet bow. My 2010 Bow Madness was very loud that it needed string leeches, which also slowed my fps a bit. Most peeps will tell you the Bow Madness is a very quiet bow...so....just saying.

I've owned Martin, PSE, Matthews, Bowtech and Hoyt, I now shoot a G5 Prime, and while it is not on the vote list, it definitely gets my vote.

Ultimate Predator 06-09-2013 07:07 AM

PSE DNA didnt see it must be on the poll of good n fast bows!!!

Grizzlyman1980 06-09-2013 07:25 AM

Bows are personal preference..As for my favourites..It's the ones i own with the Dna coming in right at the Top....I Much prefer Pse over others but like all bows...Grizz

BlackBear74 06-09-2013 08:46 AM

I shot the DNA at 55lbs and loved it. Quiet, smooth, great back wall. Shot it at another store at 72lbs, absolutely hated the draw cycle. But it was still quiet.

lapua 06-09-2013 11:29 AM

I just got the new chill and love it, much nice draw the my carbon element

north american hunter 06-09-2013 08:35 PM

Is the hoyt carbon element really worth it ?

thrude1 06-09-2013 08:58 PM

id have to vote PSE DNA as well even though its not on the list mine quiet and fast even at 28" 65lbs chronos @ 315fps with 450gr arrow think it works out to 88lb KE and it never broke the bank to buy :)

If this were really the case it would be the best bow on the market.....

I would love to see this first hand..... Not doubting you but those numbers are almost too good to be true.

Wow! That is a true kinetic monster! It is really more like 99 ft/lb! Both of my Destroyer 350's at a true 28" draw length can "only" make 80 ft/lbs. that's 380 grains at 309 fps at 66 # draw weight.
