Please help with a bear

Hello everybody
I would like to ask if anybody would help me with a black bear hunt.
I primary hunt 308 and 402 which are closed now. I have my good friend from overseas for a hosted hunt until September 21st. I was confident that I can put him on one in the mentioned areas but now I'm stressing out. We spent last 3 days driving dirt roads and walking the hills in 406, 316 and 314 and saw 0
I found one a week ago scouting in 406 before my friend arrived but couldn't locate him again.
I know I might be asking much, I would never ask for myself cause I do understand it takes effort time and $ in the process. I'm willing do drive fair amount of km (I'm in Calgary) if there is a good chance for one and I do understand some of you might have expenses into baiting and such. Please don't be offended by my request it is just a desperate call.
If any of you could help please pm me.

Thank you
Regards
Mike

Want a good shot at a bear, on short notice ? Better go North at least 100 miles past Edmonton.

Go to Cantera road on the way between Kearl lake oil sands and Husky oil sands you'll find lots there. I used to work up there seen 7 with an hour just be careful where you shoot and be safe. It's also good to pay attention on sign with no hunting. But if you go on a lease road you'll find them. Goodluck.

Some excellent advice in this thread. I would follow it. North and west. North and west.
Make sure to pay it forward at a later date when someone need a hand

Last year I mentioned it to a fellow AO about the place. He went and he shot the biggest old black bear he ever shot. Its a long drive but its worth a try. there are a lot of berry patch on that area. I'm sure the local oil sands company wouldn't mind because they are becoming a pest and danger to the workers.
