Cable guard bar makes it impossible to adjust windage on my hamskea rest
Was looking at my bow the other day and I realized that the cable guard bar on my elite impulse 34 covers the hex bolt for unlocking the micro adjust. Kinda makes walk back tuning a little more difficult. The bar does have a bit of an offset to it so I'm wondering if it is off 180 degrees.
Hoping it's an easy fix. Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk |
K impossible is the wrong word. But if I adjust it much more towards the riser it will be

Possible Fix
I had the same problem with a QAD on a hoyt. I had to take an "L" shape allen key and cut it down to the point that there was approx. 1/8" left past the elbow. I was then able to fit it into the windage bolt. How close is the top of the bolt to the cable guide rod?

This is the allen key I have to use.

Easton makes a set that has a short leg .... I would say there about 1/2 leg on them

Go to nut and bolt and get the exact same bolt but with a tradition bolt head and then use a open ended barrel wrench to adjust.

I'm gonna go to an elite dealer in town and see if the rod can be rotated
