Very cool pics. Could any of those be a coy dog? Beautiful cross fox, I would love to catch one of those one day. Congrats.

Thanks Dave I have not figured out how to post pictures on this site. I mostly read about all the great catches made in Alberta on here. Someday we might get to use free hangers province wide but until then I guess it's just the registered lines up north. The southern zones will be using Rams which are great to.

Both yotes and the cross fox were caught by Prince Albert at my brothers farm. He was having problems with them killin calves. I've never set his farm before because it's a bit of a drive and I stick closer to home. In 30 years plus of trapping I've never caught a colored yote before. In a month of trapping on his 900 acres I've pulled around 40 yotes and 10 foxes. Might have to give it a better go next year and see if I can line up a few more neighbors in the area.

You people have a great site here and I usually check in once a nite to see how things are going. Good luck to all.

Those are sure some odd balls. I catch quite a few of the red and orange ones but have never seen a black one like that.

I really like that blondie! Not only for the colour but look how thick that fur is. The long hair goes right across the back. They're all dark bush dogs here and I'd love to catch one like that. They're all very nice! :happy0034:
