They would tell you there are no Browns above the falls and they taste like crap anyway :thinking-006::sEm_oops2::thinking-017:

Nice. I too have caught quite a few above the falls. Never fished below the falls in fact. I smoked a 20 incher brown taken out of the Crow last year. Yummmmmmmmmmmmyyyyyyyyyy

Where are the bows?

I love catching Browns and am not complaining but my trip to the Crow this year produced three nice Browns, above and below the falls. These three compared to one other Brown in over 20 years. Problem was this last trip did not produce one big Rainbow. I normally catch several nice bows and numerous mid-size bows. Is this a Whirling disease outcome as played out in streams in the states where bows and cutts go down hill while browns seem to hang in there?

Way too early to jump to that conclusion, methinks. Plenty of large bows last fall, and a couple of decent though slightly smaller ones this year so far for me. That said, I did catch my largest brown ever there a few weeks ago (same one as Bessie? hmmm... my picture sucks so can't tell). Also, we technically have no idea how long whirling has been there, so may be seeing some of said effects. All guessing at this stage. I'm holding out hope that things just haven't heated up yet to where they will eventually get this season.
