To what end this information will be used against us by our communist government, remains to be seen. I complied for the simple reason that I love to hunt, and in order to pack a gun, I will be required to wrap it in the mandatory piece of paper that is of absolutely no use or value, other than to show that I was a sheep!!!! It would seem that most people have already registered, as the registry accepted the information as quickly as I could submit it.

I registered a rifle about a year ago and filled in all the fields with "unknown" and I received a piece of paper back with all the fields "unknown". The rifle was a Marlin bolt action 22. I have a shotgun which I intend to register after the deadline, should be interesting to see what happens.
