Awesome Google Satellite View Timelapse Website

Just saw this on Facebook and it was too cool not to share.

Google put out a website showing timelapse of satellite images over the last 30 years.

http://time.com/timelapse2016/

I played with it for a few minutes and saw how crazy fast some cities like Calgary have grown.

I watched an island (Nishinoshima Island) grow due to volcanic/lava activity.

I watched another island (Sipadan Island) suffer due to receding beaches/shorelines.

I watched the Athabasca river delta on Lake Athabasca grow like crazy, another 30-40+ years and Fort Chip will no longer be lake front property.

And of course I checked out Antarctica, the mountains and up north by Greenland to watch the receding snow lines showing that global warming is definitely real(man caused or natural occurence is another story).

Very cool website and it was really neat to play with for a while. Anyone else that knows of or sees something cool to look at post it up.

I looked up several places. It provides quite a perspective.
