Rough scoring of this buck?

2 Attachment(s)
Hey guys, I am hoping some of you more experienced hunters could give me a rough estimate of what this buck might score? Been spotting this guy for 2 years now, lucky for him he is within city limits so he is protected, but I am pretty confident I have narrowed down which particular area he lives in, and will be searching for his sheds in the spring. Since that is still a long ways away I am just curious what he may score? any guesses?

155 - 158

Not going to have much mass once the velvet comes off

Have a tough time with bucks this time of year, but I would say he would gross in the high 150's, low 160's.

The cooter 07-29-2014 07:23 PM

I'd put him in the low 160's.

buck

Can you bowhunt on the north side of the hiway there? Willing to bet after this post, somebody or a few will be trying, this will be the last year you spot'em I'd be willing to bet, lol. 150-155 is my guess.

FishHunterPro 07-30-2014 05:19 AM

150's

catnthehat 07-30-2014 05:34 AM

I may have seen him twice last fall if that's the one that hangs between Tims and Hospital street!
There is another big one like him around timberline though, he was in my son's front yard the other day!:sHa_sarcasticlol:
Probably go high 140's - low 150'sonce his velvet is gone.

I would say no. He is well within city limits, downtown on the east side, Abasand on the west side, North to the bridge. All within the city.

walking buffalo 07-30-2014 09:20 AM

150.

dmac 07-30-2014 10:00 AM

153 ish. Good symmetry.

58thecat 07-30-2014 10:13 AM

150 class whitey, would make a good first buck for someone, archery style!

Leather burner 07-30-2014 10:37 AM

The velvet does make them look bigger, that's for sure. For comparison, this one grossed 168 and netted 165. http://www.hunt101.com/data/500/medium/IMG_0039-2.JPG

Nice deer!
I wouldn't hesitate with that buck.

CountryLife94 07-30-2014 12:38 PM

Great looking deer..I'd say mid 150's. Velvet is deceiving

dmcbride 07-30-2014 01:34 PM

Seems to be lot's of buck's in Ft. Mac. Took this pic 2 years ago with my phone. Was working and they just strolled onto site without a care in the world.

It's funny, I see all these nice bucks pre season, where the hell are they during hunting season? to much bush this far north... Or maybe it's me just me lol

Biggest muley I've ever seen was on suncor base plant 2010, no idea if he's still around but he sure was a beauty!
