230 eldx-338 win mag

Hi all, trying to develop a load for a friend in his 338WM. Its being a bit stubborn in the accuracy dept Anyone here have any experience with this combo? I've tried a bunch of different powders and bullet combos and the best we've squeaked out is MOA, was hoping for a bit better.
TIA

Do a Berger seating depth test
One will be substantially better than the rest
I have 2 rifles that like a big jump

I tried 3 different bullets and 6 different powders in my nephews 338wm. Nothing would shoot better than 1-1/2”. Changed to a different primer and the groups instantly shrunk.

Which primers did you end up switching to ? I’ve also tried about 5 types of powder and 4 different bullet combos. Just been using CCI magnum primers though.

I switched from Fed 215M to Rem 9-1/2 primers.
