12 GA Chamber Brush

Need a quality chamber brush for removing hull plastic and I do not have a source for one. Does anyone have a spare for sale or a source for a good brush?

Chamber brush...………...not a bore brush.

I use the bore brush with some fine brass wool embedded on the outside. I looked around RD for an actual chamber brush to no avail.

I have never had an issue with plastic build up in chambers, but for plastic deposits in barrels and chokes, I apply carburetor cleaner, let it sit ten minutes, then use a cotton patch wrapped around a bore brush. You could dd an extra patch or two to clean the chambers. I find that using a bore snake with the built in brass brush, after every use, really helps to greatly reduce plastic deposits in barrels and chokes.

Acklands has brushes in many sizes and materials on twisted steel wires for industrial use .

I have never seen shotgun shells leave plastic behind in the chamber. If your shotgun is I would have it looked at. Something isn't right.
