Maybe a fun project/contest?
Sitting here bored watching a spider walk across the floor, I had an idea.
Micro archery. :) I am going to try and design a tiny handheld bow, and shoot 1/16th carbon rods. I don't know if it is possible, but it sounds like fun. What a blast, if a guy can do it, shooting at a target on the other side of the couch. If I can I will eventually try a compound version, but likely too difficult. I have a long lasting background in r/c, still have a lot of parts and think I can do this. Anyone else interested in micro target shooting? I am thinking 2-3" arrows |
Ya that sounds like fun, I'm not sure i can make something as creative as yours but i might find some stuff, start shooting ants or any other bug in the yard.
Stik'em |
Mouse bows we call them. I have a 15" Vine maple long longbow here with bamboo swizzle stick arrows with trade point broadheads.

suction cupped darts may work.
better surface point area w/ little to no house damage. |
You can make a decent bow out of a ball point pen and a rubber band. You can shoot the ink part through a cardboard box!

lol.. that would be awesome!!
I have seen a tiny crossbow that was built. Heard it shot pretty sweet. Post a pic if you end up building one!! |
Great idea!
I will be working on a couple of ideas , love the thought Ken, I tinkered with mini bows long ago that actually shot quite decently, hehehe sounds like fun!

You might not want to be in possession of a Micro crossbow (50cm or less). |
