Any canvas or upholstery shop should have the equipment suitable to that repair.

You could get iron on patches too. Like the kind they use to on on knees and elbows of clothes. They will be stronger than just sewing it up. Even after sewing up the damage an iron on patch would be good reinforcement.
Patches would cost a couple bucks. All you need is to iron them on. |
I have used one of these for decades on leather, canvas etc. Will take you less time to make the repair than to drive over, drop it off and get it back. They cost about 20 bucks. There are lots of youtube videos on how to use one, but it is really simple.

Pretty sure it was Dean2 who had recommended that on another thread I had made a while back for another project and it's a darn handy tool. The wife and I have used it for all sorts of stuff since including fixing an ice tent pole ripping through the keeper like neekrivers tent.
It's not hard to use and makes a really, really strong repair. |
Got it repaired by local upholstery shop the holes were where the poles are at the ice. So after few years of wear and tear they poked through. He used a piece of seatbelt to repair. It looks like it should hold up great. Now just need the ice to be good so I can get out and try it out.

Thanks Dean one on the way from Amazon
