Purchase Lead Shot?
 

Where are you able to buy lead shot in Canada where shipping doesn't consume all the profits in reloading.
Just want to use up the rest of my supplies and then likely get out of reloading shot gun shells.

Allan Day out of Carstairs is great to deal with.

There is no cheap place to buy lead shot unless you stumble across an old reloader getting out of the game, and will to sell under market price.
Hummason in Ontario makes lead shot.
With their current price of a bag of shot ($49) you are near $60 per bag for a pallet of 16 bags shipped to the Prairies. That is about $10 per bag for shipping and then GST included.
Out Muzzle Loading club in Saskatoon puts together an order when enough guys want shot.

I paid $63 per bag from Allen Day last summer. I only reload 28 gauge and 410 target loads, as I can still save a significant amount for the sub gauges.

Do you buy any solder from those guys?
I always thought that if a guy owned his own biz, he could order a few pounds of solder, and a few boxes of ammunition, and see if they'd give you a receipt for an entire order of solder...
