Anti-Torque Products
Hi, I am both new to archery and to this site. I was wondering what the group members opinion are on anti-torque products for compound bows? Do they really work? And what are your favorites? I realize torque comes from poor form and I am working on that but during my research on the subject I came across this line of discussion and was looking for more input.

I use an anchor sight to "show me" the torque, this allows me to correct and stay consistent.

Just bought an "anchor sight" the other day, got rid of the peep, haven't had the time to fine tune everything yet, but my groups almost instantaneously closed up. Stopped shooting 3 shot groups as i was ruining arrows.

Those of you with the anchor sight, are you finding that they are solid enough for for hunting use?

Thanks, the anchor sight looks great. I will be looking into this after hunting seasons for sure.

I like the sound of that anchor sight lefty... I have an issue popping up with using a peep lately, it seems like I can focus on the pin or the target but not both. Have you experienced this and did the anchor sight help with it as they say?

The Anchor Sight is a form/anchor aid that allows you to shoot with out a peep sight. It can allow more light to get to your eye and buy you a few more minutes in low light. It also shows you torque and can even show you if your bow is out of time based on whether it lines up or not. I use a peep and an Anchor Sight, I found having the peep still present didn't bother me. LC |
