Mini cannon... regulations?

say someone wanted to make a miniature cannon which would run on black powder, be fuse ignited, and fire .50 round ball.... what are the laws governing that sort of thing?

No lock. Just fuse. Good to go.

Next question... where do you get cannon fuse?

Caroline Supplies in Caroline, AB, or there are a few places to order it online, though I found Caroline Supplies to be cheaper if you can get there. BP can be had from Cabela's or again, Caroline Supplies.

I wonder if you can get a surplus 50 bmg barrel or 20mm barrel?

MrSharp 05-08-2017 05:19 PM

4GT.com has fuse also.

mini cannon

I am told the bore should be smooth and I have used old BP Rifle barrels in the past and built a breach plug for back end. Nice to have for cleaning and getting stuff out of barrel. Caroline supplies will mail the fuse to you if you like. Have fun they are a blast
