Where are they found in Alberta?

almost any river or stream that runs out of the mountians that can support fish will most likely have these.

They are found in Jacenbeers smoker, my skillet, most rivers, and many reservoirs in AB. Especially common in the foothills and mountains. |
Caught a few this weekend on the fly. They are pre-staging for the spawn.

I have caught Rockies even in Edmonton on the N.Sask. river in February where the river doesn't freeze in some parts. Rockies like white , like white flies or white maggots. bottom fished. They do like current too.
