Anyone got any reports on the area up there? Snow all gone? Anything turning green?

Still snow in the shady areas, freezing every damn night. Streets are dry in town, bush is wet. Spring ain’t sprung yet, only sort of half assed.

This time of year can be tricky for travelling in - going in on the back roads may be fine in the mornings when it's frozen, but coming out (when it's warmed up and sloppy) can be a challenge. That mud is notoriously gumbolic.

Was in the Blue Ridge/Swan Hills area on Sunday. Logging roads and lease roads are muddy, snow mostly gone and not much green yet. Didn't see any bears but saw lots of deer

Went through swanhills this morning , snowing everything will be a mess

Hahah such a ****ty feeling, couple years back I was bear hunting on the windfall to Tom hill cut across, got stopped to go check a mud hole before crossing. I looked back and watched my truck slowly sliding off the crown on its own a few minutes after I had parked thank f for a rut stopping it🤣

I work just off the big stone. Snow or rain almost every night the past week. Was starting to green up in the sides of roads but that’s been put to a halt. Snow still in the bush

Same things happened to me! Truck was buried for two days haha.
