Coyote trapping
Recently i've stumbled on some coyote tracks (including some 15 feet from my front porch), this might sound like a stupid question but how do i attract coyotes to a specific location, I've tried throwing out some dead chickens, but how do i cover my sent

The coyotes will come to the scent of the chickens...or any other bait for that matter. You don't need to worry about covering your scent.

Will they still eat em if the chicken is frozen?

For sure! Half the stuff they eat is probably frozen. My grandpa will haul a dead cow out to his coyote set up, and the coyotes will work on it for weeks, well, the coyotes that live through each day

I went out for the mail yesterday and a coyote ran out in front of me. Right down the middle of the street. I was suprised at how far into a residental area he was, and how calm he seemed running along.

I started throwing out pork hearts, but i heard that the coyote can tell the pork is demestic and they wouldnt go near it

Any light meat parts like chickens or hearts should be frozen in a big tub of water so they cant carry it off. they will get brave after a while and make a try for it in the daylight, just takes time.
