.280 Hunting Ammo

Hello

I don't have a ton of experience with ammunition etc. I was buying my hunting ammo for my .280 at Wholesale Sports in Calgary. With them closing I've noticed neither Cabela's and Bass Pro don't have any real options for .280 ammo. I am assuming at some point I will have to learn to reload but for now the cost of getting set up has not allowed that. I'm hoping someone can point me in the direction where I can get some good quality .280 ammo. I've still got two boxes of 140 grain here so I'm not desperate for hunting season. But I would still like to grab some so I can do some practicing before I head out.

I shoot a 280. I have no issues finding factory ammo.
This year im going to try the Hornady Precision Hunter 150 ELD-X.
But theres lots of factory ammo to be found. Prophet River stocks 5-6 different types.
Federal makes the Trophy Copper in 140's, Nosler makes the 140 Accubond & Barnes makes the 140 TTSX. Ill be trying one of those next if im not happy with the Hornady.

Prophet River has more choices than you can shake a stick at. Phone them up and your ammo will be on the way. Likely cheaper than the cost of gas you'd spend driving around.

I'll check my stash, I know there's a few boxes down there and I no longer have a rifle chambered for .280, I could part with the stuff. Some Hornady and Federal IIRC.

Hi Guys

Prophet River is exactly what I am looking for. I'm going to order some up right away. Thanks for everyone taking the time to reply!
