how to fix broken stock
 

hi there,last year i broke the winchester stoke from the sling attachment,i had put a harris bipod and fired couple of shots from my win 300,later i noticed it has broken,can any one tell me how to fix it.:(

How bad is the break? Is it split?, the hole where the sling stud goes in ob longed? A pic maybe?

its just a hole.i think they dont make them strong enough for bipods.

sling stud come off,i need to make it stronger than orginal,i like to use my rifle with bipod.

i read some where that bolt studs work better for the high powered rifles

For a bipod attachment (yuck!), inlet a piece of 1/2 x 1/4 x 1" steel into the barrel channel and glue it in place. Then drill and tap 10-32 for the stud.
