I am drawn for Mule Deer in a WMU on the Alberta / Sask border. This particular WMU has not been affected by CWD culling yet but I am concerned that the number of tags given out in it may be significantly higher than past years due to the concerns associated with CWD. I don't have a problem with increasing the tags in an effort to manage the spread of the disease but I would like to know if they have been increased prior to the season as it will affect my hunting strategy somewhat. SRD publishes the hunting draw summary report on their website but I doubt that it will be up before the season begins. I have sent an email asking them when they expect to post the summary report but I haven't heard back yet. Does anyone know any other ways to find out the number of tags given out in a particular WMU in this years' draw?
