Clam plate will fit SM Lite Flite

Hello fishing friends, I bought an SM lite flite and I had a clam plate. The ID of collar is too big 22mm on liteflite and the male fitting on clam plate is 17mm so I had an ion 24" extension which fits on clam plate and amazingly is 22 mm on the shaft. I buffed the paint off and drilled a few holes to make it an adjustable extension. Works perfect for the Lite Flite. Hope this helps a few figure out how to use the clam plate with SM Lite Flite. Looking forward to try this beast out. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...eb950bd9b5.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...66b8774614.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...87a18ef851.jpg

Why the plate? Doesn’t your drill come with a handle? I used mine last year with the pistol bit and seemed to work great. Just curious

I cracked my wrist when it got jammed just before it went through bottom of the ice. I kept telling people that it never happens, then boom, when it does, it hurts like a mofo. The handle attachment cracked as well. Had the clam plate with drill and different flight last year after that and works great with plate and no worries now.

The drill Fractured your wrist ? Sounds pretty crazy, they definitely have some serious power.

Ya the torque on the Milwaukee fuel 18 is craziness. The handle broke and the rest is history [emoji856]
