I was fortunate enough to harvest a bush mule and moose. Mule walked to me wondering what I was on a windy day and the moose was chilling on a cutline, walked to 175yds and the .270 150gr put a wallop on him ,dead in 60yds. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...1d9e6113ac.jpg

Well done, harvesting both a good moose and large mule deer on same hunt not an easy task in todays Alberta.

Got a chance to experience that unique Alberta Pronghorn hunt. Didn’t last long with having an opportunity to tag a great buck just over an hr into opening day but the time scouting and leading up to the trigger being pulled made the experience a great one!! Very fortunate to harvest a great bear and a great antelope so far this season. Looking forward to the rest of the fall and the memories, good times and good people that come with it!

Second day of rifle season in a MTN WMU. Great week of bugling action ended successfully last night of my 7-day hunt. Packed out on our backs!

10 minutes after legal light ,nice little buck this year at 194 yards on a fairly good slope from the kneeling position with the 303 Ruger:)

Caribou
 

So it wasn't a hunt in Alberta, but I won it by entering a raffle from the Alberta Wildsheep Foundation. Spent about a week in the Cassiar mountains with Backcountry BC and Beyond. Took a floatplane in, then a day of horseback to get into good caribou country. Had a fantastic time.
