i just got my hunting license. i want to start with coyotes. hoping someone can give me some ideas. i will appreciate it

Get yourself a mouth blown call, don't fall into the trap thinking that you must have an e-caller.
Avoid being seen when you walk into a stand, don't crest a hill or walk in the open down a valley.
Sit where you have a good long view down wind.
The dogs will city circle and make their final approach to using their nose almost always.
Sit down a have good look around before you start calling.
If you have too much obstructed view move a little higher.
Don't move once you start calling.
Sitting still is the best camo you can get.

For this time of year id suggest starting with gophers, get good at shooting those little guys with your coyote setup so that by next December you can shoot the coyotes when they are prime.
