Skeena property for fishing
I found this property for sale on the Skeena River. Pretty cheap.
A few members together could buy the property just to have a place to go camp and fish. A place to camp and fish right on the river. Nice area on the river too. http://www.landquest.com/detailmain.aspx?propid=10357 |
damn that's cheap, if I only had the money
|
Wonder if this will affect the sale .
I remember when this story broke , haven't heard anything else .

From what I can recall, that side of the river sits on a high bench, with the "riverfront" being a steep hill.
I'd keep looking. |
Sorry can't chip in just bought my own little house on a fishing pond. I was always jealous of the Sundance fisher so had to find my own oasis to call home. Moved in Sunday already caught a whole bunch of fish Like this one! Wish mine was priced more like that skeena property.

you can still buy an oceanfront house, on an island (boat access), gov wharf, with power and water ,off of Prince Rupert for around 200,000.
Back row fixer upper for 75,000.(major repairs ) |
The agent, Richard Osborne is a friend of mine, we fished for steelhead together. That sure is a decent price for property. Richard and my brother in law were partners in 25 acres with a hot spring right on the Skeena years ago...I wonder what that would be worth now.

To bad I just saw this now and it appears as if its been sold. My dream is to buy a small chunk of riverfront land somewhere out there and build a small cabin then spend my spring and fall steelhead fishing.
