You will be fine and good luck on the hunt coming up.160 to 180 is good,i wouldn't go any lower, but that's just my opinion .The 168 lrab may work well along with the 180 to 195 bergers when you get back.

Plus they load factory ammo in the 28 nosler with the 162's eldx,so why not have it in there book. |

Your probably best to use a rifle that you have some experience with.
I know the shiny new toy is awesome but taking old failthful will probably give you a lot more confidence at crunch time Congrats on the new rifle |

Bingo!
There ya go, AO members to the rescue. But I think Marky is right, I would definitly be using a rifle I have a bit of history with myself. |

Very nice of 260 rem to post this info when a guy is in a pinch, good for you 260. JD |
I need to take two guys as I’m sure you all do. My 300 will be the daily gun but if something happens to it I gotta make sure the back up is good to go. The other option I have available is a 25-06 and I’d rather not use that. Thanks for the data very much appreciated. Thx to all that responded

He’s setting up a 28 nosler not a 7mm. I’m pretty sure the rest is self explanatory
