Hunting bow for a female

Hello,
I am a rookie at shooting archery myself but it is something I really enjoy. I am looking for a good used bow so I can take my wife along and get her started shooting archery targets and once she is comfortable with that... possibly take her hunting with hit.

If anyone could suggest where to look or help me out here I would appreciate it.
I would prefer a bow set up and ready to go.

Thanks

My sister in law was in the same boat a few years ago. She wanted to try bowhunting without spending big money on a high end setup. After shooting multiple bows she ended up with a Hoyt ignite package (the store let her swap out some of the package parts if she paid the difference - which was nice). She really likes it, and it’s super adjustable (draw weight and length) so when she upgrades, it will get handed down to one of her kids.

If you want used, try the buy/sell on here, or archery talk.

Go to a bow shop (not a box store) have your wife properly fitted for a bow, buy her what she wants...enjoy.
