Thinking of growing some dragonfruit

Seems doable enough.

Not sure how well they would do indoors.

Also thinking of trying a mushroom kit. Think I saw them at coop.

I tried one once. They're not bad, very juicy and high in fiber.

There's a hydroponic store in GP, the guy has all sorts of cool things growing. Last time I was there he had about 100 dragon fruit seedlings started. I forgot about growing them tell now. I just started peppers last week.

Which store in GP? I'm doing some research into hydroponics / aeroponics. I think with the right setup a guy might be able to grow some good fruits and vegetables.

I just run compact fluorescence. They do ok and won't burn your plants, they don't quite have the lumens as metal halides but they won't light your house on fire...

The guy is a wiz and will answer any growing questions you have.

What are you growing? Are you on a hydro setup or dirt?

Dirt, just use them to start pepper/tomatoes and what ever else I want.

I keep meaning to over winter some peppers... But early frost keep getting mine while I'm out hunting haha.

I buy them at superstore. $1.88 to $2.47 each. Rarely see them for $1.00 each.

Can LED lights work? Which lights are most energy efficient yet have the right spectrum?

There are LEDs that have the right spectrum, T5 with grow bulbs are the cheapest I've seen so far. Unless you are going smaller scale then there are lots of smaller grow lights that would work.

I buy dragonfruit every chance I get.

Amazon.Ca is cheaper for LEDs. Fluorescent bulbs are cheaper yet
