Hello Guys
I absolutely love pheasant hunting but with living in a small townhouse in the city owning a good dog just isn't an option. I'm wondering if anyone in the Edmonton area would be interested in having another experienced pheasant hunter along and give the dogs a bit more time in the field.

I've hunted over dogs 20+ times and I'm in good shape. I regularly hunt for grouse in the Blackfoot and I'm a decent (but not excellent) shot and use a Browning Citori 20g. Safety is by far my biggest concern and I expect that from those who I hunt with as well, no pheasant is worth getting peppered.

I only shoot flushed birds and listen carefully to the dog handler.

I'd be more then happy to help out with gas and buy coffee or we could just meet at one of the local release sites.

Thanks!
Tim

Tim, I would be glad to take my Springers out for a little exercise at Capital Power, not to interested in weekend mad house though. Send me a PM if interested.

This is what AO is about. Outdoorsmen helping outdoorsmen.

I taught Tim's brother when he was in grade 12. Big enough to lift a moose and a fine young man to boot. I am guessing Tim is cut from the same cloth.

Tim, I will be at Genesee bridge tomorrow at 7:00AM, Blue Dodge, not sure if you can make such short notice, but will be elk hunting next week.

Thanks everyone for your replies, I managed to get connected with someone. Went out to South Plain this morning. :-)

He's a big boy! I like to think of myself as the better-looking one. :-)
