Road Radio Needed - Oilfield RADIO NEEDED, RADIO NEEDED, RADIO NEEDED, RADIO NEEDED

Hello,

I need a 2-Way road radio for oilfield roads. Please contact me if you have one for sale or know someone who has one for sale. 780-721-1747.

I am currently near Grande Cache, I have someone headed this way from Edmonton in the next few days.

Thanks, Travel safe.

rent one?

Have you tried Grande Industries? When i lived there, they seemed to have everything I needed. Other than a fuel hose for a stupid Chinese kids quad, $80 in fuel for a $1 hose in gp.

I would say rent one for now. The rentals come with most channels programmed in. I did this for a awhile when needed whch was occasionally then got a few full time projects so decided to buy couple for the trucks. Charged my clients a daily fee for the radios and the radios ended up getting paid for this way.

Vector communication in Grande Prairie usually has some used ones for sale.

Ya might want to know what channels ya need. I got quite a few VHF radios but they don't all have the same channels programmed into to them.

Good luck.

I have this radio, it's easily programable and great to have for call roads.
I'd defiantly recommend it.
It can also be used as a scanner.

Radio Found

Hi All.

I found a radio in Edmonton I decided to purchase.
Kenwood from TK-7180, antenna, 500 channels programed ready to go to work.

$475.

I will be deep in the bush (and not the kind I would prefer) so should have long range with this and many channels ready to go.

Thank you for your replies!

Happy Hunting.

The Source in GC both sells and rents them. Programmed with every road channel from GP to Hinton.

I found the TAD M-10s to be the best I've used so far. Big power. I can talk with folks in Swan Hills, from Barrhead/Westlock, and get through 5x5.
