Moscow attack by ISIS kills over 100 but it’s a weird world
ISIS is apparently fighting Russian propaganda and misinformation as the attacked Russia earlier in March and have claim responsibility for this latest attack. But Russia is refusing to announce that on national media but instead have tried to link the attack to Ukraine.
The attackers are from Tajikistan. ISIS even released photos of the men taken before the attack. Sounds like Russia also ignored the warnings from other countries about an attack. So now ISIS is forced to fight Russian propaganda as it tries to claim responsibility in the eyes of Russians. Likely it will embolden them to do more attacks. Russia clearly wants to use this to bolster military recruitment and potentially as an excuse for a harsh assault on some area of Ukraine while at the same time they will be looking to hit ISIS somewhere. |
Better that ISIS attack Russia, and draw away resources , than attack someone else. And hopefully Putin deals extremely harshly with ISIS, as opposed to Trudeau welcoming ISIS terrorists back with open arms.

Need this morning showed 4 very beat up terrorists. One that apparently had his ear cut off by security official. All look tortured. Two have already pled guilty and have life sentences as Russia doesn’t have capital punishment.
That said… the odds of them surviving 2 days in prison with Russian nationals is zero. They will be dead as soon as the KGB feel they’ve beaten as much info as possible out of them. Then they get Navalny’d. Sudden death syndrome. |

The whole story is weird. Apparently the terrorists were trying to escape to Ukrain as per Russian media but they were caught in Belarus/Russia border… They were driving the white Reno sedan after they fled the massacre and kept driving it all the way to Belarus where they were captured…. They didn’t try to get another vehicle that wasn’t spotted at the crime scene? Dumb!
As for cutting ears or balls…. I kinda like the idea! |
I think the Ruskys will treat them like a cat playing with a half dead mouse. Beat the crap out of them every day for a while.

The sources I've seen, seem to be pushing that the ISIS acct is the right one, and that they were supposed to be headed to Tajikistan. Russians trying to blame Ukes is completely predictable, pretty much a given that they'd at least put that out on their own media for domestic comsumption. Think they were trying to tie them to the Russian Legion group that did the little invasion in the Belgorod border region, apparently that isn't flying too well, but, they do have a mostly captive audience. Of course RUAF is flattening whole towns in that area with air and artillery, it'll become something of a no-man's land now apparently. They say they issued evac notices before taking out those towns.

Life sentence in a gulag is about 2 days for these guys if they make it there at all

check out this clip from Konstantine, he has some very interesting insights into the events that day. he actually knows the area very well and attended numerous events at the Krokus auditorium. he can say pretty much what he thinks because he doesn't live in Russia anymore. it's about 20 minutes long, maybe someone will watch it and post a cliff notes version. enjoy.

Sure enough on how to deal with terrorists - of course they are responsible for 150 odd deaths of innocent people, Putin is responsible for more than a thousand times that many

You keep saying Russia. Russia is a country. Isis is a terrorist group. If someone I meet tells me they are Russian, I’ll shake their hand. If someone tells me they are isis. I spit in their face. |

There is however some in depth journalism that showed some Russian blue jacket undercover agents helping the terrorists… then quickly capture them and it appears by the same guys that were at the scene of the massacre watching and then later, holding the terrorists in custody. The one “hero” is apparent one of the undercover agents. Makes sense… have a hero, capture the bad guys, blame Ukraine. Still… Putin knows it was ISIS… so when will he strike their leadership in the Middle East. |

No one will care. It was such a successful attack. If Russia let it happen after ignoring other countries… then at least if will stop. If they screwed up… new attacks will be coming. Likely in waves. EU apparently fends off lots of planned attacks. Russia also now has to kick out all persons in the terrorist demographic. That will hit there economy and further upset the Islamic community. Ignoring ISIS claim of responsibility is likely also ticking them off. |
