Ice Fishing Derbies
 

Anyone know where I can get a complete list of ice fishing derbies in Alberta? Or at least, in Southern Alberta?

traverse is the first weekend of feb. and then its a weekend off and then newel, and then the weekend after that is badger. hope that helps you out.

I heard rumors Badger may be cancelled.

The champs bar in champion puts it on. On another post they said badger tickets go on sale jan 17th
The weeek after badger there a derby at crawling valley

Tickets for badger go on sale on Saturday January 8th. And as far as I know there isn't a Champs derby at Travers this year due to the fact that the bar in Champion (Champs) is closed. But i'll definitely keep my ears open

Ya, unless someone or some community group comes outta no where to put on a derby at Travers, there won't be one this year. Like Lovich said, the bar in Champion has been shut down.

The Brooks fishing derby takes place every February long weekend. The derby takes place at Lake Newell which is around 10-15km South of Brooks. They hand out around $10,000 in cash prizes.

as far as i know you have to get tickets at lomond.
i think they sell out pretty fast.

rumtan has a make a wish derby at wab lake family day weekend as well.

Wholesale Sports in Lethbridge has tickets for the Badger lake derby, we picked up our tickets today.
