NDP spends 4.5 million on climate change advertising program
Omg
No one wants it, so let's spend over 4.5million on advertising and trying to convince them it's in their interest. http://calgaryherald.com/storyline/n...ge-advertising |
We should outlaw NDP threads. They are so depressing.

Reap what you sow.
Thank you Edmonton.

It's only a waste of money if you don't believe in climate change. If you do believe, it's a necessary expense. So we can dispense with bitching about this, and the carbon tax, and closing coal plants. Nobody on the forum is changing their mind about any of this. So let's talk about hunting and fishing and what's the best calibre for big game in Alberta. ;)
Sorry, I'm suffering from excess Christmas spirit. LOL |
Polar vortex. Now cold is caused by global warming.
Here is what the polar vortex is. https://www.theweathernetwork.com/us...tionwide/75631 If my using a bus is causing me to freeze at the stop I am doomed. Or so this says. http://www.cbc.ca/beta/news/canada/w...look-1.3885241 :bad_boys_20: You can't argue with global warming causes everything. Rain, drought, floods, snow, blizzards, cold, hang nails |
Get it right...it is not advertising
When somebody "advertises" something it is for something people will want and or desire. The NDP spending 4+ million for the carbon tax and the "climate change agenda" is nothing more than PROPAGANDA....brainwashing for the masses....communist governments specialize in PROPAGANDA.
How about a Province wide vote for Albertans that says YES or NO to the carbon tax....nope the NDP would not do something as silly as that.Same as the shiny pony does not want a vote on electoral change. FTH |
sun that's because you're out of date ...

.... with the terminology - current lib 'speak refers to the phenomenon nowadays as "extreme weather" -- Sheesh Sun .... try to keep up ... |
Using taxpayer funds to feed the taxpayers some nonsensical gibberish, go NDP!
|
Should change the title to 8.9 million.
The NDP government is putting $4.5 million toward a new advertising campaign for its climate change plan, spending that comes on top of $4.4 million for its original promotion campaign for the environmental initiative. |
I don't know why people **** and moan about politicians? That's all people ever do.
They are supposed to govern according to the will of the people, but they don't - and they know Canadians are going to bend over - take it and do nothing but complain about it. Don't like it, get off your arse and do something about it. oh but wait, when the natives uprise and start protesting - this same bunch tells them to shut up. I don't vote anymore - cause guess what, it doesn't matter who is running the country or the provinces. They are in it for themselves. Enjoy the decline. |
send them packing
All the money the NDP spend will go for not when they are punted
|
The radio ads from the Ministry of Propaganda are not putting me in my happy place.

But anyway. Back to the NDP using their fattest MP to step on our throat with the biggest boot they have when our economy is stalled... Why, when so many Albertans are taking pay cuts or getting laid off right now (not including government employees of course) would the NDP feel it necessary to not only impose increased taxes on the working men and women of Alberta, but to spend/waste money on advertising telling us they are going to hammer us for driving SUV's and trucks while THEY are driving SUV's and trucks that we pay for and the fuel for them, AND the GD carbon tax on them as well? They are punishing US for decisions THEY are making that goes strictly against their own religion. Bunch of sadistic twits. SJMFASCIADACOTOV!!! (My apologies for my rantastic run-on sentence) :) |
I am pleased to see that the comments on this article are an indication that there is still some sanity among the general public. The odd wingnut of course.

So they complain and complain, just as the French did before they stormed the Bastille. |

People seem to forget that worst was promised by the PC's who got us into this mess. It wouldn't matter who you voted for you were always going to be the one that would have to pay. and pay and pay and pay, until the people wake up and ask why they, their government, is in debt when we have more valuable resources per capita than any other nation and then decide to change the game, not just the players. |

Right now i have friends with 20 something kids and they are either married or engaged, no kids, just pets. No mortgage. They are posting likes on FB supporting Justine and Nutley all day long for this carbon tax. Their Dinks, dual income, no kids.
When I say to them wait 10 years when your deep into diapers and baby food for 2 kids, daycare or one stays home, outrageous school fees, $$$$ to keep the old mini van running. You will change your tune about this carbon tax money grab. They can't see it, no real life experience, life is fun right now and their drinking the Kool aid. I remember being 20 ish and having a big savings account, new ride, toys and dumb to how the real world works. Funny how 2 kids and a house can smarten you up. |

Pretty sure I've proposed a solution. Less taxes. Less regulation. Less government. More beer. |

Will there be a difference between Trudeau and Maxime Bernier (just as an example)? Likely. Significant? Hopefully, but more than likely it will be a small incremental change. |
Their ads are garbage.
They DO NOT mention the Carbon tax. They DO NOT mention that electricity, heating, diesel and gas, food, clothing, you know, all the things we need to LIVE will be going up as a result of their stupid Climate Change program. They are being dishonest by leaving out the details. And people complained about the PCs being corrupt. |
