Hay Bale Blinds?

Anybody know where I could pick up some hay bale blinds in the Calgary area, have built one in the past but don’t have time this year with work. I checked Cabelas, Bass-Pro and Can-Tire but can’t seem to find any anywhere, any help greatly appreciated.

If you have Instagram, check out bowechfam
He is building and selling them in Calgary

Check Cabella US web. They should have them and can ship them to you no problem

I made two of these easy to assemble portable blinds with fold-down fronts last summer. Unfortunately since I sold my pickup and bought a Honda Ridgeline they are too long for my box. I could likely be coaxed into selling them. IMO, way better than a bale blind...

And I am driving down to Calgary next week, so we could likely meet up if you wanted them.

I've got 2 for sale if you want but I am in Edmonton....
They are older but work fine. Used them for years with Ducks and geese but never got out much. Also used them with Grandpa for Whitetail and put a heater in them.

They are not very safe to sit in during hunting season with some of the jam tards out there carrying firearms.

Why is that? Do people just drive around and shoot hay bales?
Never heard of an issue once of anyone in a blind getting shot!
The 2 I have are like these but a yellow wheat stalk colour.

Had it happen, sitting in a bale blind watching a deer out in the field that we weren’t going to shoot. Had a couple of guys see the deer out in the field and they were going to shoot the deer that was by the blind. A little unnerving when someone doesn’t realize that one of the bales is a blind and they are pointing a rifle in your direction, so yes it can happen.

Not even going to comment on that...but some people are sure scared these days

Pixel Shooter 07-18-2019 09:34 PM

You just did comment on it, and I don’t call it scared. I just don’t like having firearms pointed in my direction. Some of us are heroes though!

Good grief, can we not even have a simple question about hay bale blinds answered without another war of words breaking out....I for one am sick of it infecting every single thread it seems.

Sorry man. I know amazon lists the same items at like 5 different prices. Usually a couple are good and then there is 1 that’s is way off the charts lol
Just wouldn’t want anyone to just click on the link and buy it. Then realize it was that expensive
