Canada Post e-mail scam
 

Here is another scam that I had not heard of before.

I just received an interesting e-mail from “Canadapost” advising me that “Your package is waiting for delivery. please confirm payment ($299CAD) on the link below.........”. Of course I am not expecting a package via mail and did not click on the link. What I did find interesting was when I clicked on the property details it showed that the message was sent in the early hours of June 24/19 and I rec’d it at 6:39PM June 23/19
...over six hours before it was sent! The message obviously originated from the other side of the world!!

I’ve received a couple of those myself.
Lots of hackers and scammers in Russia, China,
India and other countries. Once someone in Israel tried to hack my computer. It’s getting worse.
