Holy rude awakening batman

I had heard about ammo prices going up so i figured heads for reloading would be too but not that much I was buying 130gr 270s and 225 338s interbonds I was expecting a bill between 80 and 90$ looking at last year numbers but I had sticker shock at 127$, and from what I hear it's going to get worst, makes me think if the loads work out I will stock up 200-300 of each should have a couple of decads of hunting covered. and maybe a few thousand for the varminters as well.

Well welcome to reality.
Raw material prices have gone through the roof, labour costs more, and ya there's a war on.

Must be a copper thing. I bought some 14/2 house wire today and my eyebrows went straight up. .69/ft.

You'd think by what is written in 50BMG's linked article that some of those affected police jurisdictions in the US should be hush-hush that their cops are out of ammo lest the bad guys find out!! :P

Another member here and I stocked up big time on bullets, powder and primers with the knowledge that prices were going WAY up. If you haven't already done so, do it now!!

Besides the Iraq/Afghanistan thing, China is grabbing raw materials or scrap where ever it can get them.
