pigeon boat launches

I was wondering if anyone knows if the boat launches are still in at the PP and Mulhurst?Hoping to maybe make it out there tomorrow for the last time this year for open water.

well went today and launched the boat without a dock with no issues. There was some algae build up along shore but not bad.Fishing was good but the algae was terrible.Got back closer to shore and the last 25yds was a solid mass of sludge. The trolling motor was so built up that it wouldnt even run.had to push the boat in with oars and with the late evening breeze we couldnt hold the boat from drifting and i had to bail out in the green algae so the boat wouldnt run into the rocks.Disgusting. Only us to blame but if you had any plans on going out to Pigeon this long weekend i would advise against it.Bring on ice fishing now.

What launch did you use because I was on the water yesterday at Pigeon Lake Alberta and the water has awesome visibility at Poplar Bay PP. I could see my anchor rope for at least 10 to 12 fow.... same for the Walleye when they were on their way up to the net!

we loaded the boat up at Mulhurst boat launch the green slime was bad had to pressure wash the boat and trailer afterwards .
it depended on what part of the lake we were on for water clarity . south side was mostly good , north side and west end green.
raining out now , hope the green slime disappears .
