Ex-member passes

Some of you will remember AVB (aka Andy von Buess Spelling) usually in a few confrontations on here resulting in him being banned. He has passed onto greener pastures and I thought I'd pass it on. RIP

Im sorry to hear that.

That's sad to hear.

I know we didn't often see eye-to-eye on issues, but his posts were definitely thought-provoking. Reading his obituary, it seems we had a lot in common (besides our cultural heritage), and we probably would have had some interesting conversations had we ever gotten together.

Condolences to his family and friends.

Thanks for sharing about Andy's passing. I certainly had some good, lengthy, and intersting 'discussions' with him (especially in the epic religion thread of several years ago). In spite of our vast differences, we managed to discuss well, even via pm's.
I had a standing invite to go sailing with him if I ever made it down to Florida when he was there, and I would have gladly done so.
Condolances to his family.
RIP Andy.

I had a few good go-rounds with him. He believed cattle should have a very limited role in Ab society. Saying that, he was passionate about preserving a lot of Alberta for future generations. RIP

Andy and I did not see eye to rye on several things , all internet related, he simply would not leave well enough alone on many subjects when it came to forum rules

In reality however, I knew him as a friend , and he was a welcome guest in my house several times when he came to Fort McMurray.
Rest easy, Good Sir......
Cat
