Thanks for the reminders again.

Just a thought on closed and pulled snares, Perhaps the lock was used prior to this and had a cat hanged in it or the cable was contaminated with feline smell? Or mink for the trap ? It,s unusual that the snare itself would be targeted , something has to draw the coyotes attention to the snare and I,m pretty sure a coyote in that area or most areas does not connect the snare with danger , IF it did it would avoid the snare all together . same goes for the trap.
