Only one 22LR
 

If you reduced your rimfire collection to one 22LR Rifle, would keep a Semi or a Bolt action.

Semi auto all the way.

Mine would be a pump. Winchester 62a

I only own bolt actions and they are all match rifles.
When I was trapping I preferred a bolt action 22, either repeater or single shot

For a nice high end show piece, bolt action. But for gopher apocalypse, definitely semi auto.

Repeating bolt gun for me.

I have a sweet 50th anniversary Cabelas special edition Ruger 10/22 that I’ll be keeping but fighting the temptation of a Tikka T1X is getting harder and harder.

I only have two now, both bolt actions.

One semi and one bolt.
Or just a bolt. Because the action stays cleaner. Less jambs. Shoot different kinds of ammo.

Have to be go with a semi ...... way too much fun to shoot a brick or two of ammo on those sunny afternoons.

Nothing beats a good semi.

Two years ago I would have said bolt. Recently its been all semi...

I was set on semi. I have a Remington 597 HB that I think is pretty accurate. Then I picked up a Savage MKII bolt, I'll take that all day. I still really like my 597, but I like the bolt actions.

whatever I took it would have a threaded barrel for me to run my can on!

I’d keep my Rossi Model 62 SA pump action .22.

Given the choices, probably a bolt. I do like the BL22 though....

For me its my CZ 452 full stock, beauty piece is wood and fabulously accurate...FS

If we are limited to bolt or semi it would be my CZ455, but my all time favourite and the one I would want if it was the only one is the Win. 9422 lever.

If you have the $, Anschutz. If not, CZ.

Tikka is the new CZ....... probably new Anschutz too!!!

Bolt 100%.....

I had a semi and it jammed so often; 3/5 with all ammo available and it was very unreliable. Never got past that and I am a bolt fan, all the way.....and single shots.

Bolt action for sheer versatility of ammo choices. Specifically the low velocity, quiet ammo that duplicates the performance and sound level of a mid-range air rifle. It doesn't bother the livestock. :)

Semi's are fine, but I go through a lot more ammo. A lot more.

Thanks Kurt!! I think it is a KILLER setup! Put over 10,000 rounds through her this summer, poor gophers... So happy with it.
