Best Donair
Was in Edson a while back, stopped in at Donair Zone on the main drag WB. All I can say is wow, probably the best I have ever tasted.

Good to know. In Edson every once in awhile and have seen the store but now I have a reason to stop in. Love a good donair!
|
I have also eaten their donairs and really enjoyed them. You gotta be pretty hungry to get one down.
|
Bashaw donair in leduc/nisku is pretty good.
|
Aida's donair in Mckenzie towne (Calgary) is one of the best I have had. Interior not much to be desired but the donair is great...
|
For me Richards Donair Edmonton :)
|
Liberty Donair in Whitecourt.
|
Not inexpensive, But soo worth it.
Only been to the Macleod Trail SE location South of Heritage Drive next to the Coop. Good quality and quantity http://jerusalemshawarma.ca/our-menu/ |

If you like Richard's I bet you would like Enzo's Donair even more, they make insanely good french fries too. 18547 Stony Plain Rd |

The only worthy donair joint in the Edmonton region is High Voltage.
|
Cleopatra's cafe in red deer....simply amazing. Oh and try their garlic fries on the side!
|
I wish I could remember what place I ordered dinner from info st albert when I was pipelining there but it was the best donair I have ever had.

High Voltage is in the old Mr. Sub location. I think they opened in that location about 45 years ago wasn't it? I've heard they make good food there. |

If your in Cochrane, Donair on the run is pretty good
|
If you're in Edmonton:
High Voltage is pretty good. Simon King probably gets my vote though. Jumbo spicy loaded with the works & sweet sauce. |

Uncle moes in Calgary on Edmonton trail ( block north of Jim bows archery) is the best hands down

Donna's Eatery on 215 St is really good. One of my favourites. More subs on 170St is good, as good as Enzo's as mentioned before. My favourite though is Nitza's Pizza in St Albert.

I dunno... I just can't get past the idea of eating meat of an unknown origin and unknown contents that's been spinning for an unknown amount of time in front of a heat lamp.
Maybe I'm completely wrong and it's amazing but I'm a pretty picky eater to begin with. |
