How to make wader with cast on your foot?

Just broke my foot and have a walking cast. I don't plan on big hikes but can handle wading in the water (or at least I think I can). My air cast obviously wont fit in my waders so I bought a cheap disposable wader 28 bucks with the rubber boot thing. Cut off the one rubber boot where the cast is, but now need an idea what to use to cover my cast and seal it somehow.

Any ideas?

How about resting your foot for a month?

Personally I admire that kind of dedication lol. Good luck with your project.

Could you just fish from shore for a while? No wading?

Over the years I have had both feet seriously injured--Two different occasions.Better go, with easy shore fishing,or maybe boat. The bones need to heal--to reinjury, could lead to serious complication, and long lay off.Better do the right thing for the long term-------

Wiggy warders, then put a over shoe on the cast foot or rubber boot. not sure how your foot size is now. but im sure over shoes will fit.
