CZ popularity.

Im new to the forum, is CZ gaining more attention?

st99 05-28-2015 07:16 AM

the day they'll make stainless rifle, I'll buy

bsmitty27 05-28-2015 08:35 AM

I am think they should gain more attention. As long as they don't screw up the 557 too much and keep the price down. And as long as they keep the 550 and don't change it.
The rimfires have a bigger following it seems.

I love my SP-01 Shadow and will own a 97B in the future. Never tried a rifle or shotgun yet.

Ryry4 05-28-2015 01:26 PM

I've liked any CZ I'be owned. They need more retailers up here.

I just purchased a cz452 american .22 and mounted a leopold on it. I love the thing. I havent had a chance to really test it out but it loves cheap winchester wildcats. Cant wait to throw some yellow jackets or.stingers through it on sat. Fit and finish is very good. I may like it more than my .17.... maybe. I have a SP-01 tactical it a nice pistol. So far I am 2 for 2 with cz.

My friend has a CZ 22 and except for the trigger it's excellent plus.

I may not own any CZ's right now, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy one ... they make a good product.

Cz452 american. No scope. Great gopher, rabbit gun.

I have a Redhead Deluxe 20ga, I love it for upland and skeet.

Halfton 06-01-2015 11:02 AM

I have 3 CZ O/U Shotguns. 2 Redhead Deluxe's 12/20ga's and a Wingshooter 12ga. They have a decent wood/metal fit and a good finish on them. Seem to go Boom whenever I pull the trigger and they fit me fairly well. I wouldn't say I am in love with them...But I do like them a lot.
Their rifles I have never owned or shot but I would look at them if I was in the market for a new one...based on my experience with their shotguns.

choices

At one time in my rifle buying like a mad man days I thought it was some how important to have all of the CZ rimfires and all of the CZ 527 rifles.
And at one time I did,all except for the HB 17 Rem.
In my time of possesion of all of these different models I never had a single issue with any of them.
Just amazing how well all these rimfire models shot the Federal American Eagle ammo in the 40gr solid or the 38gr HP. Loved all of the full stock models and was lucky enough to keep a 22 and a 17 HMR. Some of the turkish walnut on my rifles was also very pleasing to the eye.
Now the fine little 527 center fire action is just a pure joy to load for and love the idea of the single set triggers. I still have a couple of hornets, a 19 Calhoon and a 223 walnut varmint.
Many a gopher has fallen to my CZ array of firearms...FS

Good choice.

I had a 550 American last year with absolutely gorgeous wood. Like every gun I buy... I sold it. The only thing I would say is that they are not lightweights, but neither am I.

Saw a "Canadian ".22LR at our local shop last month and just had to have it right then and there. Good looking piece and it sure chews up paper. Can't wait to take it to the gopher patch.

Have a SP-01 Shadow, absolutely love it. Took it to a group shoot where we had Glocks, Sigs and Walther and got a lot of compliments and comments on it.

Prefer it over my Glock to be honest
