WMU507 Bull Moose Draw

I got my first Bull moose draw this year in WMU 507 and downloaded the iHunter app. Appreciate any advice on where to hunt to start scouting the area and get proper permission to hopefully fill my tag this Nov

Thank you in advance

Hand me your map and I'll put an "X" on it to get you started :thinking-006:

Seriously though, as 1shot said it's become a crazy busy WMU. You've got I-Hunter to get you started, Goggle Earth can help to. Use them to find good habitat and go scout them out. Knock on doors asap to get permission. Good luck and congrats on your draw.

Just curious but why would you apply for a draw in a zone where you don’t already have waypoints on your map to start ? I’d looks low lands

Look for "Moose Bush" first then do your scouting to find moose sign. This year water will play a big part in good moose locations within most WMU's.
Lastly hunt early days of season, noisy hunters and quads can move a lot of moose within a WMU.

It was my third choice for the size of crown land. I am already getting to know the area, driving around crown land, and I am planning to contact people who have their name on IHunter for grazing lease adjacent crown land. But I still appreciate any tips and hoping someone who have a private land on this forum is willing to allow us access. Thanks for the tip
