New trad archer

Hey all,
Where would be some good options to get coaching in traditional archery in the Calgary, Airdrie, Red Deer vicinity?

I have done a good bit of reading and YouTube but I learn best from a coach.

I have a samick sage take down, 50lbs draw and I shoot 6-10 rounds of 6 arrows just about every night..as close as I can anyway. Been doing this for 2-3months.
I shoot at 10 yards (thats as much as my yard lets me), instinctive aiming. Maybe 10% all 6 are in the bulls eye, 60%-80% I'm a few in the bullseye a few within 4" and 1-2 flyers
The other 10% all are [emoji12]
I'd really like better consistency as I know this only gets worse with distance.
Thanks!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...c06420426c.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...185f7f3d1d.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...a4b94ecc30.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...a5a1ee757c.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d45b560bf4.jpg

Have you shot out past 10 yards?

My best advice is head down to the Calgary archery centre Friday nights...it's trad night. You can get to know some new buddies there and get all kinds of info. You'll have to pick and choose which opinions will suit you best.

I have, max being 20 right now. My last shoot at 20 was my best, grouping more or less on the same vertical plane.
Everything at least hit the target this time!
Until I figure out a better stop though I don't risk much as when I do miss the target my arrows go subterranean under the sod. Lost one this way. A little expensive to lose many at this point.

I would suggest finding a field and shooting 50+ yards not at a target. Watch your arrow to see if it is flying true.

If your arrows aren't tuned to your bow you will have issues with consistency. Or your nock point could be off, or brace height.

Good luck.
