270w reduced load info???

I recently purchased a Tikka Tx3 light for my son. I've read a few articles about reduced recoil loads for a .270win and wondering if anyone has tried or come up with a good load. I'm going to start with H4895 for a powder selection and some were around 60% of the maximum charge with hornady SST's.
Any thoughts?

Go to Hodgdon’s website, and look up reduced loads with H4895, it’s all explained there.

I spent yesterday at the range with a small grandson sighting in his 270 Parker Hale I gave him.
Shooting 35 rounds of 130 gr factory ammo didn't bother him at all . Last year he shot a 6.5 x 55 with 125 gr full loads . The 6.5 x 55 is mild recoil anyway.

We can reduce recoil by shooting lighter bullet weights . The 270 is quite reasonable with 130 gr bullets, but it isn't so nice with 150's. For hunting I will load him 130 gr Partitions in the 270 .
