Could use some help
Am writing an application to record target scores.
Was reading through the NFAA documents and came up with this... Main screen.. http://www.outdoorsmenforum.ca/pictu...ictureid=10495 Built the program like the Golf Handicap program I wrote a couple of years ago, it uses the wide screen monitors to display both the help and reports on the right hand side of the screen. Makes good use of the hardware. Like this.. http://www.outdoorsmenforum.ca/pictu...ictureid=10497 So my question is where do I "fit" in the leagues like Indoor, Outdoor, 3D etc. in the tree below ? http://www.outdoorsmenforum.ca/pictu...ictureid=10496 Will try to get a better screen shot tomorrow. Treeview show Male/Female/Division/Style/Nomenclature Any help is app. trying to figure the target structure out as best I can. Formatting fields and setting the tab order can be tedious but the pictures are fun.. http://www.outdoorsmenforum.ca/pictu...ictureid=10498 |

Think I figured it out..
http://www.outdoorsmenforum.ca/pictu...ictureid=10506 Kind of funny the way the distance is measured in FT and YRDS but the target size is always in CM Centimeters don't matter if it's International or Other. That's the way they do it at the NFAA. All the above is posted based upon NFAA documents, right or wrong I'm just doing this based upon what the they put out on the internet. My best guess is what I show here is true but take it upon yourself to verify. |
Another odd quirk..
http://www.outdoorsmenforum.ca/pictu...ictureid=10507 NFAA only allows FreeStyle in the Pro groups. It may have something to do with the NFAA being the start of recording archery scores from years ago, I don't know, lots to learn yet. Just kind of odd they only allow FreeStyle for the Pro folks. Crossbows for Cubs are ruled out that's understandable. Why restrict the styles of the Pros to only FreeStyle ? |
Next I what to add on Scores and Handicap values.
Then I want to use this program to compare me to other archers. After that I want to us this program to help me find a place to start off a younger fellow archer to learn, where to reach and what to reach for. Where to start, and see just how high the score is, to train for the best. Or I could sit around watching the tube like the rest of you. |
Your Archery Structure will most likely be different than
mine. But I bet they have a lot more the same than not. |
