I do enjoy hunting 406, yes its not an easy area to hunt but its close, away from the city and outdoors. Generally most people I come across are quite acceptive, though the normal question is "there's hunting allowed here", but I do get a kick from the look on the Face's of tree huggers when they walk past.

Stay away from Little Elbow, tons of people there, hikers, bikers, etc.

Mesa Butte, Sandy area I've never had anyone look at me sideways having a gun or anything. Same with areas off highway leading to Little Elbow. Never thought to hunt around Little Elbow as been in that area and just too many people for my liking.
