Ice fishing St. Paul
Hey guys
I am new to the area and looking to do some ice fishing in the St. Paul area this winter and looking for some great Perch. I am wondering if you can still get any decent fish out of Vincent Lake I heard it used to be great at one time but not anymore. Is this true? Where would you recommend? |
Tough fishing all around there. All the old Ukrainian farmers got those lakes cleaned out or they are very secretive.

As for the OP- a lot of those lakes up there are getting hammered, but you never know things change from year to year and you may find a spot or a technique that does the job for you. You also have quite a few different lakes to choose from in your area, it may be worth your while to check out a few of the less popular ones |
Put in your time, maybe invest in a underwater cam. There's good genes up there. The big loners are tough to catch but there's still opportunities in lots of lakes up that way. Nobody gonna draw you a map. Find your own spots and zip the lip and tell everyone sheez fished out like most serious perchers do in alberta. Good luck.

Hundreds of lakes within 1 hr of there. You're gonna have to explore. Keep an ear tuned in at the local coffee shop and you might hear where there bitting.
